Returns & Exchanges
At COMMONGROUND, we strive every day to deliver the most unique, high-quality products to our community. Our relationship with our customers is our utmost priority, and we believe that for any relationship to flourish, there must be clear communication and mutual understanding.
Behind every order, there are multiple teams working around the clock—from design to quality control—to ensure your journey from clicking "order" to unboxing at your doorstep is seamless.
Because many of our pieces are produced in limited quantities or are made-to-order specifically for you, our policies are crafted to sustain this level of exclusivity and craftsmanship.
1. Exchange Policy
You may exchange your order for a manufacturing defect in the product, provided you notify us within 48 hours (2 days) of receiving your delivery.

Fees: A nominal pickup and shipping fee is charged for every exchange to cover logistics.

Condition: The product must be returned in its original condition: unworn, unwashed, with all tags and labels intact.

Rejection: If the item arrives back to us with perfume scents, stains, or signs of wear, the exchange will be rejected. The item will only be sent back to you if you agree to cover the additional shipping charges.
2. Returns & Refunds
Due to the limited-run nature of our collections and our "made-to-order" business model, all products are ineligible for returns or cash refunds. To ensure you are happy with your purchase, we provide detailed size charts and specific fabric details in the description of every product. We strongly encourage you to review these before placing your order.
3. Damaged or Incorrect Items
We are human, and while we strive for perfection, "misses" can happen. If you receive an incorrect or missing item:

Timeline: You must contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Beyond this window, we are unable to offer support.

Verification: To process a claim for an incorrect item, we require a high-definition unboxing video along with clear images of the product and packaging.

Resolution: Please allow our quality control team 2-3 business days to investigate. If the claim is found valid, we will arrange a pickup and ship the correct replacement at no additional cost to you.
4. Packaging & Care
When returning an item for an exchange, please pack it with care. Any damage to the prints, or garments that arrive excessively crumpled/creased due to poor packing, will be considered "customer damage." In such cases, the item will be sent back to you as-is, subject to shipping fees.
5. Sale & Discounted Items
Products purchased during a sale, using a discount code, or via a Gift Card are final sale. These items are explicitly ineligible for any exchanges, returns, or refunds.
6. Cancellations
We do not offer cancellations once an order is placed. Our system processes orders immediately to ensure timely delivery. Pre-paid orders, in particular, cannot be canceled once the transaction is successful.
7. Refunds (Where Applicable)
In the rare event that a refund is authorized by our management team, the amount will be transferred minus a nominal platform/restocking fee and a shipping fee of INR 250 per item.
APPLICABILITY OF POLICY
By Agreeing to use the Commonground Exchanges portal and/or initiating a request for purchase of products on the portal, you agree to be bound by the terms contained in the policy without modification.
